Artist’s Statement:
I am a Gunai Kurnai woman. I was born in Queensland at Southport Hospital. I am a new and upcoming artist, and I have fun creating artwork using really bright and vibrant colours to express my emotions and how I am feeling at the time. I feel like art is definitely becoming a part of my healing journey because when I am doing art I am not thinking about other things that are going on in life. It takes me to a place where I feel cool, calm, and collected. I still have so much that I want to learn about art. I am definitely open to anyone and everyone’s opinions/advice on art, as there is never any "wrong art." Art is what you make it at the end of the day, and that is what makes every bit of art different from the others.
