Hope you enjoyed the festival! Sunday, February 26th from 11am-4pm, 2023, celebrated at the Torquay Front Beach Foreshore, The Esplanade, Torquay, allowing everyone to enjoy the colour and excitement of the day. The Festival of Colours is a cultural event celebrating the oneness of the human spirit, and is based upon an ancient festival which finds its origins in India. The God of play, Krishna, would engage in the throwing of coloured powders with His cowherd friends.
