Poems for War & Peace

This Sunday was influenced by the Total Eclipsed Super Moon for our Poetry Readings Afternoon Tea. Here are a couple of poems that were read.

Poem by the late Bronia Rosenbaum, photographed by Harry Borden below, was read by her son Phil Rose

“There is no philosophy to describe the sadness of a lone tree with dead roots. Even if nestled in faraway woods, all one can hear is memories and tales of bygone years, and prayers promised for my soul, when I’m gone.”

Poem by Lee Hirsh
