Opening of ‘SpeediesArt” by Jes Speedie
The opening of “SpeediesArt by Jes Speedie at Minerva Gallery, 224 Danks Street, Albert Park, will be next Sunday, 10 November 2024, from 2pm to 4pm. The exhibition will run from 10 November to 10 December 2024. Viewing times will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday between 1pm - 6pm. Jes’s drawings on skateboards are a tribute to her sister, Shantel Speedie, who passed away last year. Jes found herself drawing characters of her youth on her journey through grief and healing, as a way to honor her sister’s memory.
