Today is Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice is today, Thursday the 22nd June 2023, a day that begins the new light of the sun’s energy. This marks the beginning of winter and is the shortest day and longest night. It’s the day of the “Sun’s Rebirth.” It’s a beautiful time to use the fire element in ritual and celebration by releasing anything you no longer wish to carry in your life, for the rest of 2023. This is a good time to snuggle in with loved ones and enjoy a hot chocolate by the fire, and a reminder to honour our connection to the natural world.
