9 days to go to the Peace Festival. We have confirmed T'HONI !!!

This will be the first performance since COVID began in March so the team ae sooo excited!!!! Te Hononga o nga Iwi: Better known as T’HONI. We are a Kapa Haka group (Maori performing arts group) who formed in 2008, based in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne.

Our name means the “coming together of the (Maori) Tribes” which calls upon all Maori people living here in Melbourne to be, irrespective of their tribal heritage.

We relish sharing our culture to with all communities, connecting people of all ages and backgrounds to our customs and we work in close partnership with the local indigenous custodians of these lands of the Kulin nations.

We run groups for children, young people, adults and beginners every Friday night in Cranbourne and all are welcome.\
