2018 – Dove of Peace Art Exhibition

Exhibition: 21ˢᵗ Sep – 5ᵗʰ Oct

Opening of Dove of Peace art exhibition was at Cora Graves Centre, 38 Blessington Street, St Kilda 3182, 6pm-7pm, 21ˢᵗ September, to raise awareness for UN International Day of Peace. It was part of the Port Phillip Peace Pageant that was held 21ˢᵗ September 2018, 4pm-7pm on the same day.

The theme was world peace. Connecting together, artists explored the notion of what their spirituality and inner feelings were in relationship to their own creativity. Artists from different cultures, faiths and beliefs came together in the spirit of love and compassion to create community peace.

Prior to the art exhibition HealingArts held 8 Art Workshops facilitated by artists to make a sculptured Dove of Peace (in chicken wire and paper mache, 8ft x 4ft) for their Peace event. The ‘Dove of Peace’ was displayed at the art exhibition.
