Since 2011, the Planetary Healing Artists’ have annually sponsored free, multicultural, inter-spiritual community events and art exhibitions, utilizing different themes each year to promote healing in various ways.

  • 2024 St Kilda Peace Festival with the theme ‘Healing the Community’ is on again on Sunday, 15 September 2024 at O’Donnell Gardens, next to Luna Park, St Kilda, celebrating International Day of Peace. It is a multicultural healing arts festival aspiring to build a more inclusive and harmonious community. Don’t miss it!

2023 Planetary Healing Artists’ - ‘Healing the Spirit’ art exhibition from the 24 September to 31 October 2023 was held at Artful Yoga Gallery, 1 Vale Street, St Kilda. Artists showcased their creativity on healing the spirit and expressing their thoughts on promoting peace and harmony in the world through their artwork.

2023 St Kilda Peace Festival with the theme “Healing the Spirit” was held at O’Donnell Gardens, next to Luna Park in St Kilda, on Sunday 24 September 2023. Thank you Rotary Albert Park, the Victorian Government and everyone at the Planetary Healing Artists’ Association for your amazing support. We had a magical day! 1pm-4pm: The Main Stage, near Luna Park, Carlisle Street, St Kilda. 4pm-5pm: The Peace March to the Peace Pole at the Foreshore, St Kilda. 6pm-7pm: Opening of the ‘Healing the Spirit’ art exhibition at Artful Yoga Gallery, 1 Vale Street, St Kilda. This was an intercultural, interfaith and inter-spiritual healing arts festival for healing the spirit for the well-being of all, celebrating International Day of Peace.

2023 Peace Pole Installation was a celebration of the peace pole being installed and an installation ceremony with messages of peace from various leaders in the community. Planetary Healing Artists’ Association of Australia Inc working together with Albert Park Rotary Club and supported by City of Port Phillip have finally installed a Peace Pole on 26 May 2023, with a peace ceremony dedicated to the pursuit of world peace. It is standing as a visual sentinel of peace at St Kilda Foreshore, St Kilda. It is planted to create a sacred space for all the community to connect and elevate human consciousness and embrace the oneness of our diverse humanity.

Originating in Japan after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Peace Poles are inscribed with the divinely inspired message of May Peace Prevail on Earth ® in various languages. Planting a Peace Pole is a way of bringing people together to inspire, awaken and uplift human consciousness for world peace. Peace Poles are now recognized as a most prominent international symbol and monument. They remind us to think, speak and act in the spirit of love, peace and harmony, standing in a silent vigil for peace to prevail on our Earth.

2022 Peace Festival & Planetary Healing Artists' 10 Year Anniversary! On Sunday, 18th of September, 3.00pm-5:30pm at Mary Kehoe Community Centre, 224 Danks Street, Albert Park, Planetary Healing Artists’ celebrated their 10 year anniversary inviting the community to join them with a delicious meal and awards for past volunteers and supporters. It was celebrated with the theme “Healing the Youth” for International Day of Peace.

2022 Poetry Readings Afternoon Teas – To further our mission, in 2022 we held a quarterly series of poetry readings and open mic, that started on 22nd February, 2022. Each session had a theme on the following topics: Conserving the Earth: environment, industrialization, urbanization; War and peace; Displaced people: the internally displaced, refugees, migrants, exiles; and Freedom and human rights.

2021 Healing the Youth - Planetary Healing Artists' Association  invited the CoPP community to an online Peace Day candle lighting ceremony with messages and/or prayers for World Peace. Tuesday 21st September, 6:30-7.00pm. Theme: Healing the Youth. We support the 2021 UN Peace Day theme: Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world.

2020 Visionary Peace - Online art exhibition opening was a part of our annual cultural arts festival 'Connecting hARTS St Kilda Peace festival'. The artworks were displayed at the festival, and the event was filmed and live-streamed, providing exposure for the artwork. The theme 'Visionary Peace' connecting community together, artists broke down barriers exploring their visionary notions of what inner, community and global peace means today in our modern world. Artworks explored artists’ personal reflections, creativity, spirituality, world events and inner feelings of peace.

2020 St Kilda Peace Festival – Planetary HealingArts held a cultural musical Peace Festival in O’Donnell Gardens, St Kilda for the Summer Solstice in December and Opened the Visionary Peace art exhibition on a large screen for the dawning of Aquarius.

2020 International Day of Peace Event – Planetary HealingArts lit a candle in unity with messages of peace and/or prayer, on Monday 21 September 2020 for world peace, to spread love and compassion together, for a new world of peace for us all. 

2019 Peace Event – To celebrate International Day of Peace, Planetary Healing Artists’ Association organised this Peace Pageant on 21st September 2019. This included the public gathering in Acland Plaza, Acland Street, St Kilda, a line up for the Peace March at 3.30 and followed by the Opening of the St Kilda peace art exhibition at Leroy’s, to bring together the community, intercultural/interfaith/interspiritual individuals and organisations.

2018 Peace Event – UN International Day of Peace Port Phillip Peace Pageant held on Friday 21st September 2018, 4pm – 7pm. The event gathered at Acland Plaza, Acland St, St Kilda, followed by a Peace Walk to Cora Graves, 38 Blessington St, St Kilda, then by an Opening of Dove of Peace art exhibition, Cora Graves.
